7MM REM MAG -Earth Tone Kryptek Pattern-
The 7mm Remington Magnum, also known as the 7mm Rem Mag, is a rifle cartridge introduced in 1962 by Remington Arms. The cartridge was based on the belted .300 H&H Magnum case, which was shortened and necked down to accept 7mm bullets.
The 7mm Rem Mag was designed as a long-range cartridge for hunting large game, such as elk, moose, and bear. It quickly gained popularity among hunters and shooters due to its flat trajectory, high velocity, and excellent long-range accuracy.
The 7mm Rem Mag’s popularity grew even more after it was used by Jack O’Connor, a well-known outdoor writer, and hunter, to take several large animals on a hunting trip to Alaska in the early 1960s. O’Connor’s articles and books helped to popularize the cartridge, and it became one of the world’s most widely used and respected hunting cartridges.
Today, the 7mm Rem Mag remains a popular choice among hunters and long-range shooters, and it is widely available in various rifles and ammunition types. It is considered one of the most versatile and practical cartridges for big game hunting, and it continues to be a favorite among hunters and shooters worldwide.
