This device is nice, I actually purchased it because I saw it while looking for a picatinny mount level to help level optics. It looked clean and attractive, especially in the blue.
It’s not mounted on a long range optic, it’s actually on an 1895 Dark Series 45-70. I decided to leave it on after leveling my scope reticle because it’s clean.
The level is low profile and small, it doesn’t obstruct the irons and doesn’t stick out past other hardware so there’s no fear of undo pressure or snagging.
It’s well built and the bubble is smooth, I’ve used others in the past and the bubble would get stuck or just not be level. Not with this
My only complaint is that the screw to secure it is an allen key rather than a torque. That would be my only true complaint about the device. Which is really just a preference if you wanted to take it on and off the torque is going to hold up better in my opinion.
Also I would say if you’re looking for high vis, go for the green. Although it’s really slick and unique, the blue is a not easily visible in low light.
Other than that, great product, well worth the price.
